Myasthenia Gravis – message from a patient

03 Jun

Greetings from a very warm Shanghai to Dr. Bayer, Dr. Livingston, the nurses and all the staff at the Avenue Surgery.

As you know, we have visited China before but have returned on this occasion to attempt to walk a 20 mile section of The Great Wall of China in order to hopefully raise some awareness of the terrible illness which my Father has suffered from for the last ten years, Myasthenia Gravis.

We should be grateful if you could urge people to checkout the website of the Myasthenia Gravis Association at Thank you !

I have sung the praises of the Avenue Surgery to MGA and they have very generously donated an education pack which I shall drop in on my return to the UK.

Thanking you all once again and please do wish us luck for next week as we shall need it !

Very kind regards,
